If you have not seen this new "natural syrup", you will. It is made by Log Cabin, and is fake syrup with just the same terrible ingredients and taste as Aunt Jemima. Here is the kicker: It is in a syrup jug and is being placed on store shelves right next to the real maple syrup. Obviously this is a ploy to trick consumers who are looking to buy maple syrup. The good news is we are working on trying to have this at the very least, placed on the shelf with the other fake syrup. Peter Welch has asked the FDA to investigate. Please do not be tricked in to buying this unhealthy fake syrup, and if you are a sugarmaker please educate as many people as possible.
